Weather Closings

Weather Closings:

ZP will follow the Woodstock Union High School for all weather related closings. Closings are made

with careful consideration for the safety and safe passage for participants, family members, volunteers and

staff of Zack’s Place.

On the rare occasion that school is in session but after school activities are cancelled due to weather

and/or poor road conditions, ZP reserves the right to close early. Every effort will be made to contact

parents or guardians in a timely fashion.

Holiday Closings:

Holiday closings are scheduled to provide a supportive and family centered environment for participants,

their families and ZP staff. All are welcome at ZP regardless of age, ability, or income, and services are

made available at no cost to participants, their families, or guardians.

ZP will be closed on the following holidays:

Thanksgiving Thurs & Friday

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

New Years Day

Memorial Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

In the year that Christmas and New Year’s Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, ZP will close on the prior

Friday or the following day, Monday.

Other religious affiliation related holiday requests would be considered on a case-by-case basis to include

other holiday and designated closings by ZP board and Executive Director with a two month notice.
